Extracurriculars

Volunteer Gardener, Hamilton Victory Gardens

The non-profit organization transforms underutilized plots of land throughout the city into sustainable sources of healthy and fresh produce, to be donated to the Good Shepherd, Neighbour to Neighbour, and similar organizations. My personal involvement is as a weekly gardener where I tend the garden and peform routine maintenance tasks and harvest the produce when ready.

Team Captain, McMaster Intramural Flag Football

I was able to be a good teammate, leader and mentor to other members of our team. The main thing was ensuring that everyone enjoyed their time, but we also made sure to maintain a high standard of play too.

General Member, McMaster Atrificial Intelligence Society

I'm able to partake in regular workshops and sessions where I learn about the cutting edge of AI and get to apply it to my own projects as well. One example: training a machine learning model to detect whether a tumour was cancerous or not.
